Hector & Nelly Tamez have worked in ministry for over 50 years in over 100 countries around the world, sharing the story of Jesus and taking aid and comfort to thousands of Christians that have had to pay a high price for their faith in Christ.

For 30 years, Hector was part of the Open Doors International team, where he first served as Latin America director and later as a minister at large, visiting every continent in the world.  He also worked as assistant distribution and training director for United Bible Societies.

Hector was director for Hermano Pablo Ministries which is an International Radio and Television organization,  and for 25 years was the producer of the radio program Al Punto, that was broadcast by over 2,000 radio stations in 24 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Additionally, Hector served in the USA as President of the Hispanic Chapter of the National (NAE), Vice President of the Hispanic Chapter of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) as well as other ministries.

Today, Hector and his wife Nelly form part of the ILAM as well as ECO Internacional teams.  Their main interest is to take the powerful message of Jesus and the entire Bible to all Spanish speakers, in the same way that it was communicated to the people of the Bible; in the form of Bible Storying.

Hector and Nelly lead ILAM's Chronological Bible Storying Academy which has been opened to all those that want a deeper knowledge of the Holy Scriptures, through its many hundreds of stories.
